Joseph C. Alamilla
Primary Attorney at Law
Born in California and raised in Davis County, Utah, Joseph C. Alamilla has spent more than two decades advocating for individuals across the state. After earning his Juris Doctor from the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2003, he was admitted to practice before the Utah Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Joseph began his legal career in criminal defense, family law, and business litigation — gaining a deep understanding of how legal challenges impact every area of a person’s life. His reputation as a strategic, detail-oriented advocate led him to handle complex litigation matters, including cases valued at over $15 million.
Today, Joseph leads the legal team for The DUI Guy, where he brings his courtroom experience and precision-driven approach to clients facing DUI charges. Known for his calm, confident demeanor and strong command of Utah law, Joseph is dedicated to helping clients make informed decisions and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Beyond the courtroom, Joseph is a lifelong soccer coach with over 20 years of experience — from recreation leagues to high school teams — and has proudly led his players to three state championships. As a father of four daughters, he embraces his role as the ultimate girl dad, balancing his professional drive with a deep love for family. Joseph is an avid traveler, lifelong learner, and devoted Notre Dame fan, always eager to explore new cultures and discover great restaurants along the way.
At the heart of everything he does, Joseph believes that every person deserves the right to be defended. His work — both in and out of the courtroom — reflects his unwavering commitment to being a voice for those who may not have the ability or access to advocate for themselves.
